Question 8

Select your start heat

Accepted Answer

Spartan Race operates with heat starts. Heat size depends on the race course and will be between 150 and 250 athletes. Heats will leave every 15 minutes after the first heat.Register for "Elite" or “Age Group” heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best. Select your departure time well depending on your level, your team and your objectives. There is no cut off time but for security reasons, all athletes must be at the finish line within a certain time. If you think you are not able to complete the race in a normal time period please register yourself for an early start to give you the chance to complete the race. Team registration does not guarantee the same starting heats. Once a heat is full, the teams will be grouped only upon request to our customer service ( FAQs ). ARRIVE EARLY: Arrive one hour and a half before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up.

Question 9

Rules and regulations

Accepted Answer

Spartan Race is a race, timed, judged and ranked. Everyone is ranked and the best athletes will be qualified for European and World championships. Each obstacle is mandatory and sanctioned of 30 BURPEES in case of failure. You must be 16 years old on race day to be able to participate in a Spartan Sprint and 18 to participate in a Super or a Beast. At the check-in, you receive a headband with your bib number and a timing chip. Be aware: It is mandatory to wear and to have your bib number visible. (this will also increase your chances of being recognized on the photos to have a memory). You're not allowed to give your bib to another competitor. Medals will be necessarily delivered on the same day of the race. All Age Group who qualified on top 3 and gain the podium, will receive the medals only during the Award Ceremony. Click HERE in order to read the rules and regulation doc. Where can I find my results? All categories are judged and classified. Only the first 3 men and women from the Elite heat will be recorded for the official podium. Provisional results will be available on race day. Official results and rankings will be available 3 to 4 days after the race. Spartans do not cheat! We expect that you respect the other competitors and the above rules!
